Decoding Dynojet runfiles?
Anybody know how to decode a dynojet runfile (from the binary file)? I'd like to write a script/program that could read in one of these runfiles and do something useful with it (like use it to plot wheel torque given the appropriate gearing parameters for calculating optimal shift points, etc). The only parts I've been able to decode so far are the beginning of the file, that includes the "title", "run type" and "notes" fields, etc.
You can change the .drf file to a .txt file using the export feature on the WinPEP reader software (freely available on their site).
Then you can easily parse the plain text file to get the data you need.
You're welcome
