Developing a turbo kit. . .
I've been following almost all threads in this section that has anything to do with forced induction, mainly turbos though. There's potential in a turbo and I guess many people want one, but as far as the basics, the specs, and the details, what is it that would be the best for the S2000. Basically what I want to know is what anyone here thinks would be the best route to make a good turbo, and what price range said kit would be. If this seems a little vague, I'll make an example, and please post a reply with your opinions. Utlitmate Lurker, Derryck, Cjb80, and all the others out here that have a good understanding what I'm talking about could you please post back?
My example:
A good turbo kit would have a quick spooling turbo for my main goal: street performance. An equal length manifold would be nice, but if not, I'd like a cast iron manifold. An oil filter relocator kit, and a safe way to run the boost would be nice (ie AEM EMS standard in the kit).
These are just my ideas but maybe if we got more posts and good ideas, we can fuse the ideas together for someone who frequents this post to make a good turbo kit for our cars. Besides, who knows the S2000 better than the people who own it? We should have some idea of what the car can do, and what it needs to boost safe and powerfully.
