Default Did anyone remove the 'strakes'?

I lowered my car, and removed the front strakes. When I'm driving at higher speeds it seems to float more then before.

If you add the OEM 04 front spoiler do you still got to have the strakes on?

I removed them cause the speed bumps in Europe are really bad..

The air deflectors in front of the wheels aren't required for installation of a front lip.

They are required for proper aerodynamics, however. I'd suggest just putting them on and not worry about scraping - they're inexpensive, easily replaced plastic pieces.

they don't come as standard on the JDM cars...so must be for aero benefit above 110mph 180km/h
