Default Ground Clearance?

Hi Peeps,

I am thinking of getting an OEM front lip for my MY00 'S' and I am a bit worried about ground clearance as multi-storey car park at work has really steep ramps...

Does the OEM lip make the front of the car much lower?

cheers

Nope, it barely alters the clearance at all - the vast majority of it actually sits above the bottom of the front.

When I had the OEM lip I had to crawl into and out of the garage. With the Top secret I have to be extra careful too - and that's with stock height!

The Lurker is right!

Even my BYS spoiler only drops about an inch on lower than bumper. I've only ever had one problem with that on and enormous sleeping police man.

Cue ade73's pic

No the OEM doesnt affect ground clearance by hardly at all. In fact it protects the bumper

If it sticks forward it will affect the ramp angle the car can get over, even if it is not any lower than the standard bumper.
