Default Did I do any damage?

So I noticed today that my rear driver's side tire was deflated. I busted out the tire pressure gauge and sure enough... the reading indicated 10PSI. I probably ran the car this way for at least 250 miles. Was running the car at such low pressure levels bad? Did I do any damage?

Maybe to your tire.

How do you drive that far on 10PSI and not notice something is wrong?

You won't know until you dismount to check for run-flat damage.

no, your fuel mileage probally went down some. Only way i would think anything could have been damages was if you were riding on the rim in which case you could have scratched the rim to death or possibly bent a rim. You should be fine though once you get air back in there. Take care.

inflate the tire.. look at the sidewall to see if u can still read the text on the side.. if not.. than you have been driving on your sidewall and now need a new tire or a pair

Probably a bit of extra wear on your diff as well, like driving in a circle for 250 miles.

Also might want to check why it was 10PSI in the first place?

Like someone else said, if you can see a darker ring around the tire maybe an inch from the rim than the tire is shot as the sidewall has been worn out of it and is shot. Chances are it prob is, doesnt take much to wear out the sidewall on a tire.

Wow 250 miles? Didn't you have to stop and get gas? I would have noticed a flat tire then.
