Well this story was my rear brake was out so i bought a new set for the back. (slot and drill with Pad). after the change and everything was bleed down. took the car for a drive. brakes good and nothing wrong. no more grinding from my rear. but i notice my brake light inside the car was on! so i am thinking am i soppose to take it to the dealer to get it reset or is this something i can do myself. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I bleed the brake because the old one in there look like its full of dirt (not dirt but it was just dirty when you open it. like its black in there) . so i bleed it to get all new one in there. the reseivor so full (a little over the line max.

Brake light or ABS light? If ABS light, you may have tweaked a sensor during your install.

Did you put the screen back in correctly. That screen goes in a certian way of you put it in backwards the float in the reservour will be stuck down and might read that the fluid is low.

If you look at it closely it is slanted. I high part goes to the back of the car away from the float. You might want to gently push on the float just to make sure it isn't sticking.

Try that and see if it helps.

i had this exact same situation and that was my problem. the float gets stuck at the bottom signaling low fluid, even though it isn't low. you just have to play with it a bit to get it to rise back up
