Car won’t start now after dying out while driving. Yesterday heard some rattling noise while shifting and acceleration mostly from 2nd to 3rd gear. What could I look into to find out the problem

 

Well, you don't give much to go on. Is your serpentine belt intact. I suppose that could have broken, stopping the car from charging and then it ran off of the battery until the battery ran down. Just a wild guess.

 

Were you able to start it and drive it and it's now dead once more, or did it literally just die and fail to start after the first time?
