Default Diferential Fluid change How-To?

Newb here - I may have originally posted this in the wrong area...

Just brought home my 2003 S2K. Wow!!!

It needs a diff fluid change. I searched the threads, but don't see a how-to with photos. Is there one for this & I missed it?

Will join as a member & post photos later today. What an awesome car!!

It's pretty easy. Just jack the car on stands, remove drain bolt, let fluid drain for a bit, fill diff case then rebolt everything up.

A couple of things to add:

The drain plug faces down and the fill plug faces the back of the car. Crack open the fill plug before draining the fluid, and fill like you would fill the transmission. You will need around .8L of fluid.

Oil pump is probably the best bet to fill it. Your local autozone or sears should have one.

I remove the drive side rear tire and run a hose from the diff to the wheel well.

Lol wtf.. my car is low, and I can still change the rear diff without even jacking the car up (I do jack it up for ease though).. removing the tire though, thats overkill Buy a $4 pump from the auto store and go at it.
