Default Diff Fluid

What diff fluid does everyone use? Any recommendations on kind and where to get it? Thanks for everyone's time.

Locally, your options are usually a bit limited. I use mobil1 75w90 because that's what's easily available at the local auto parts stores (Pep Boys, DAPs, etc.). A lot of people use mobil1, and it works just fine. If you're ordering online, the LE fluid from hardtopguy is highly regarded, but I can't justify paying shipping for a quart of fluid when I can pick something up locally.

Right on thank you man I appreciate it.. I use Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil in my car and I love it, so hopefully the diff fluid will be just as good.

Mobil 1 75w90 gear oil works well, is inexpensive, and readily available everywhere. Go knock yourself out.

agreed. plus it seems to be a lot less notchy during colder months vs the LE stuff a lot of people use on this forum.
