Default Diff Fluid Changeover

I have been using Mobil 1 in my diff and would like to switch to the LE607. I live in Florida and was wondering if there are any benefits to using the LE607 in my warm climate. And is it harmful to switch from the (synthetic) Mobil 1 to the (min-oil) LE 607. Thanks in advance.

The LE607 should be perfect for your warmer climate since its a bit thicker than the M1 75W-90 (straight 90W is Honda recomended anyway). I use the LE607 up here in Minnesota and I have no reason to be dissatisfied with it yet. I plan on changing it yearly along with my tranny fluid. Its a bit more expensive than M1 and harder to get, but supposedly its one of the best choices for our seemingly weak differentials and thats worth a few extra bucks and a bit more hassle to me.

Sounds good, but is it okay to go from the synthetic the mineral oil in redgards to the diff.
