Technically, everyone uses LE 1605, not 1604.

I'd say less viscous fluids will generally be better up North. However, I'm in the south and I've used Mobil 1 since I've owned the car and she runs fine. I don't think its that big of a deal as long as you're sticking with a synthetic 75W-90.

yeah i included the sae 90w for comparison purposes. the other weights were similar numbers.

For me, I like a low pour point since I drive the car in relatively cold weather for the S, and the sooner things get up to operating temp the better is my theory. If someone can comment on the other numbers

you left out Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-110, my favourite fluid. Excellent cold temp flow for anyone in northern climates. At 100 degree C it is in the middle to upper end of the SAE 90 spec, while others on the list are at the lower end. I'd use it over all others, but everyone has their own opinion. Perfect combination of high temp protection and cold temp flow.
