I got someone to hear where the sound came from when it did it, he said it came from the left side...so Im starting to suspect its my drivers side driveshaft...

Ordered a new drivers side driveshaft, from my diagnosis Im 90% sure that it is the problem, which Im somewhat relieved because initially I thought it was my differential.

I'm...skeptical that it's the driveshaft. I've never heard of one grinding. They pop, they bind but, I've never heard grinding. Particularly if the boots are still sealed and full of grease. It it was me, I'd have completely disassembled the brakes on that side and examined the hub and calipers. Honestly the symptoms sound like a rock between the caliper and dust shield or maybe a bad wheel bearing.

Switch the axles left and right and see if the grind follows the axle.

Well the boot was twisted, the sound is coming from the left side of the differential.

It's not the brakes, the brakes were never a factor when it happend, and it will still grind without the brakes on. And the grind is not a small grind, it is LOUD.

Also, it is very similar to a thread before..
