I believe Elaug in Aus was destroying 2nd gear at WOT with 600whp.
I destroyed my 2nd gear with a little more than half that horsepower.

Here in Germany is a guy who is running his 24h race S2000 with the BMW M3 E30 Diff.
For that Diff you can get many race parts and a variety of final gears. He made a conversion kit for that new Diff.

Nibble's 04 dif is at my shop...I was going to install the 03 flange, but he realized he broke an axle. So it's for sale, with a brand new 03 flange installed if need be. I'll be taking pics of it tonight and he'll prolly post them up. Dif is from an in-transit wreck to the dealer, prolly the same wreck that I got my 04 tranny from. Est mileage is 6-15 miles. 03 flange is all that is needed to fit it to pre 04.

Bingo! Yes, a 240SX coupe is a Silvia and the 180SX and 200SX (in Europe) are the 240SX hatchback in North America. They all are grouped under the S13 vehicle code which covers cars from 89 to 94. The 240SX/Silvia/200SX got a remajor vamp in 95 and lasted till 98. That was coded the S14. Only Japan (and maybe Australia?) got the S15 Silvia. They all use the same differential. Trip, that was the web page I was looking for before. They list rear pinion sets of 4.08, 4.36, and 4.65. $400 USD for a ring/pinion set. Good find!

Chris.

Ok...so when I get a diff like the one on ebay, what is needed to install it ? and what aftermarket parts should I install in the unit itself.I basically need something that can hold the power (450-550 rwhp) as well as something that wont give me any problems with running my 19x10.5 rears. (keep in mind my car is NEVER going to the track or getting launched off first gear) thnks

Ok! After solving the issue with the rear end.. Then there is the tranny and the gear box oh dont forget axles. I think we can do it all for around 7,000 to 8,000. thats it im trading in for a miata..
