Diff oil

Default Diff oil

I ordered some diff oil form my car 80w90 (amsoil) and some how he ordered 75w90 sever gear. Is it ok to run that or no?

yes, from my research 75w90 is the more chosen oil and what im running.

Yea that's what he said. He's a distributor and said the 75w90 is better then 80w90. He also got the server gear one instid of the regular though. Which idk if it matter that's hy I'm asking on here

Amsoil.com says these are all okay....
SAE 80W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube
Severe Gear 75W-90
SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube
Severe Gear 75W-110

The Severe Gear looks like better stuff.

Ok thanks! I got on the site and searches for a distibutor and called a number that was 16 miles away. The guy told me he had it and I drove up thir thinking I was going to a store but long story short I went to the middle of bfe to this guys house. Although I did get 2 qts for $15 bucks. I'm going to prolly start running amsoil oil in my car if he can get it cheap.

Presently running Amsoil 75W140,but next change I'll switch to Amsoil SG SAE 190.

Not to thread jack here but I have a quart of 75W90 Redline synthetic from my miata days.. is that good for my S2 daily driver? I'm in socal so it stays pretty much mild for the most part.
