If you need to jack the car up, do so then pump in the whole bottle. let the car down on level ground and wait for the drip to pretty much stop.
I would recommend a fluid pump. walmart has a nice red one for ~$7. some people just tape/glue a tube on the end of the bottle, but your arms will get tired from squeezing!
