Default diff swap - shafts lined up?

probably a dumb question but I have never done this before. I will be swapping in a comptech diff + 457 for my stock one. Is there any concern about lining the output or prop shafts up?

Not unless you're trying to put on an AP2 diff onto an AP1 car. The Comptech parts and gears are on the inside of the diff. The outside is the same (for the same AP series).

its an ap1 diff, I just wasn't sure if I had to be careful of putting the shafts in simeltaneously, or if there is a marking on them that I need to be aware of to keep matched with the other side, or anything like that. It doesnt sound like it

With a repair or rebuild, it is suggested to mark all holes so you put the bolts throught the same holes, however, with a different diff, this goes out the window anyway. I tried to mark the holes when I did swapped gears, but the markings disappeared on me. I've never had any problems.
