Default Differential oil

I'm about to have 4:56 gears installed and I see that owners are using Mobil 1 75-90 with good results. My question is this- I would like your thoughts on Mobil 1 75-140. Thinks it's better or not ? Thanks

I got Mobil 1 75W90 and my Honda mechanic to me to get this Equitorq additive. I just got the fluids, trans and diff changed today. So far I have been very happy with the results. I don't have gears though.

Mobil 1 75w90 is ok, but I would go with a straight 90 weight, such as LE 607, sold at hardtopguy.com, unless you live in Antarctica.

Don't use 75W-140 and there's no need for "Equitorq" whatever the hell that is.

This was from one of the strictest Honda Mechanics you will meet. He is very picky about the S2000 and is one of those guys that hates any aftermarket part. That is what he told me to get. So far I can't complain because the car has been doing great.

I use LE 607, but Mobil 1 should do the job just fine.
