Can i use this oil for the differential ??

DuraBlend Gear Oil GL-5 LS

Applicable where an API GL-5 gear oil LS is specified
Available in a 75W-90 viscosity grade
For use in limited slip hypoid and other gears

no. the LS probably means it's got a limited slip additive used for clutchpack LSDs. It's an abrasive substance added to the oil.

Use regular ass 75W-90, 80W-90, or SAE 90WT GL5 gear oil meant for hypoid gears.

You can also use synthetic.

No special additives.

Like the castrol ?

EPX 80W-90
Extreme pressure; multi-purpose mineral oil; designed for the lubrication of spiral bevel; hypoid differentials and manual transmissions where the manufacturer recommends the use of an oil to API GL5 performance level

This differential oil is not recommended for Limited slip differential.

The differential of the S2k is limited slip no ?? LSD hum hum

I run Redline 75w-90 & have had no problems. A couple of other S2K owner friend run the same & have nothing bad to say.

Try & stay away from regular 75/90 use SYN only. Just so you are aware most all Honda Dealers only use castrol Syn gear oil 75/90. I don not recomend it at all. On my first diff oil change that fluid looked like crap & ever since using Redline the fluid look just as good as when it went in.

Hope this helps.

Thx for the reply
The problem is, here ine Belgium i can t find a lot of brands.

Castrol or Valvoline like the picture.
When i read the box, it s for use with Hypoid LSD and the S2k has a LSD with hypoids gears.

What is the problem ?

What's wrong with the Shell Spirax to the right side of the photo? It's GL-5 and full syn.

Nothing, both will work fine in your diff.
