Default Dimples in paint....

Well, yesterday I removed my side emblems. Afterwards, I noticed that where the S2000 emblems used to be, the surface seems to have VERY minor dimples. Not sure if this is a defect from the factory or what.

They are so small, I'm not even sure if a PDR guy would be able to make it look any better. You can't feel them with your fingers, they are only visible at certain angles/lighting. Curious if anyone else has experienced this???

Pics? I've never heard of dimples before...unless you're talking about orange peel.

It definitely isn't orange peel. Pretty sure it's something with the sheet metal. It doesn't look to be perfectly smooth, just a bit wavy. I can try to get some pics up.

If it's dimples you should be able to feel it. Hard to imagine what it looks like without pictures.
Have you tried polishing the area with rubbing compound?
Worst case get some CR side emblems and cover the area back up
