Everytime I check my oil...every other gas stop or so ( I check it later that day, after the oil settles)

The dip stick is poped up...I click it back and next time it is popped up again...

I have seen two other s2k's with this, anyone else notice it?

Yes! I have the exact same problem.

I am going to take mine in so I can get a new one under warranty. Maybe the o-rings are a tad bit too small.

Just make sure you wipe the oil off the o rings each time you check the oil, it helps. The stick can't pop out completely; the hood insulation prevents this.

 

Mine used to ... doesn't anymore ... I don't know if it's the miles or the colder weather ...

When I was younger my dipstick would pop up all the time. I would hate it when it would do it in public. So embarrassing. Now that I'm older I seem to have better control over my dipstick.

Oh no, everyone on here is crazy!!! LOL

 

Prolene used to have this problem with the dipstick. I'm not sure what he did to resolve it. I think he just made sure to seal it tightly and wipe off any oil that was on the seals.
