DIY Diff Removal and Installation?

How would you get the diff out without messing with the axles? You have to unbolt them from the diff, and you have to have enough movement to pull them out of the stub axles.

The next one I do I will have to take pics of the job. You roll the diff from side to side with a bit of tilt and one axle can be poped out. The other axle is cake after that I have other short cuts too, to make the job go a bit more easy and fast

yup yup best way i did it is to make sure the rear 4 studs are out of the rear mounts and you may have to move the 2 front mounts out of the way to get them out.

then lower the diff and slide it to the side and just push something between the axel and the flange and pop the axel out just make sure the diff doesnt fall on you.

im getting ready to reinstall my diff or the new one today or tomorrow i can prob get a few pics and post them!
