i did something similar on my AP1 but i put the outlet on the drivers side... now regrettign it.. should have put it coming out of the passenger side footwell along the tranny tunnel plastic piece. you just need to splice into your factory wiring current, and wire up an outlet.

i hard wired my radar detector the other day by using the positive stereo system wire behind the cd player which is where my satellite radio is hard wired into as well

Im sure I've seen dual outlets that plug-in to the single outlet on the center consol.
Single plug converts to dual. Probably $10-20 bucks.

yes theres alot of them but you just cant hide the wires that clean specially our s with your elbow close to the cig lighter, having 2 outlet is just not right...

Very easy, the red wire with the inline fuse on it goes into the fuse box next to your left leg into the male spade that has 12v power. I don't know if it's the constant power, acc. power or the one with the light switch power.

It looks like the one that supplies power only when you have the car on.

And the black one is grounded.

That's it.

it really isnt that complicated... drill a hole to fit the plug, then have one of the wires going into an existing current and connecting to the plug, and the other end going to ground.
