i dont think it looks ghetto. it looks bright! i've been thinking of doing this myself but i'll probably attach a slim foglight in the rear or use just one hid bulb in place of the stock bulb location.
That was what I was originally thinking as well, that I'd have one HID and one normal bulb, but the DDM tuning kit was for a pair and I figured "why not"

As for a fog light, I also considered it at one point but I canned the idea when I realized that my S really has no ground clearance for them

Man, seems useful to me, considering how hard it is to see how the back of this car when reversing, it would help out a lot.

Just change the bulbs for the rears with some Polarg's and you'll be set. Like 2x as bring and the HID color.
Link or info??

thats the exact reason I did this. The light is whiter than I wanted...and I think DDM sent me the wrong color bulb.

Moddiction, I googled polarg and got this:
http://www.coolbulbs.com/polarg.asp

apparently its just a halogen bulb so output will change minimally.

In some places, it may be okay to do. In Hawaii any non-OEM HID application is illegal. If a cop decides to hassle me for no reason, he could _possibly_ tag me for this. The chances of it happening are low though.
