Default DIY suspension drop (how to?)

Fairly new here so wondering if this topic is discussed and explained anywhere? I want to know if I can drop the car myself or do I need a shop to do it and what kit do I need? Also how can I do this with the least amount of change to the ride? Is this possible? I don't want my car to ride like a rock after I lower it. Strickly going for looks here. Any input? Thanks.

There is a complete DIY install guide in the sticky in the top of this sub-forum. A set of Tein springs will take care of your needs for $200.

[QUOTE=NVMY4N,Nov 1 2007, 01:08 AM]Actually "Help" is the Important Topics Stickied at the top of the forum. Helping yourself - There is a very good reason that the Frequently Asked Questions are grouped and stickied together at the top.

B/C they are FREQUENTLY ASKED. Therefore they frequently clutter up the forum -> in turn burying other peoples NONE Frequently Asked questions.

I help by moving, locking, editing, and answering any an all questions I can - why should any Moderator constantly answer the same question over and over?...they don't - that's why they are Pinned - so they can save the redundancy and put forth effort in answering questions of a Real Problem, one that hasn't been discussed, or answered, or Wrote up with Step by Step directions with Pictures a thousand times over.

The FAQs aren't stuck at the top to make the forum look good....they are there for people to READ for themselves first. THEN ask questions if they don't understand or aren't answered.

If someone can:
Navigate their way to UTH
See other topics posted
See the New Thread Button

There is no reason for them not to see the pinned topics.

THE : FAQ : = isn't in the Clickable Smilies list for fun either.....it has a purpose.

It's nothing personal - to the OP or you.....or anyone -
