Default Do I need a harness? What else is needed with VAFC

So I plan on getting the VAFC, but do I need anything else? What about a harness? Or all I need to do is install this and tune well? Thats it? Will I gain a decent amount of power with this with only a CAI and single exhaust? Also, what are the differences between the VAFC and VAFC2? Is there a power difference or just more options between the two? Is it really worth getting the VAFC2 over the VAFC if they do pretty much the same thing? Thanks

1. You'll need a harness, that's if you don't want to splice into your ECU harness.

2. Gains depends on how well it's tuned, I've heard anywhere from 7-10hp. The more mods you have, the more hp/tq you'll get when it comes to tuning.

3. You get more options with the VAFC2, also the knob on the VAFC2 lights up when vtec is engaged. You however will get the same result between version 1 & 2, depends on how well it's tuned.

The harness makes things a lot easier.

I got 8 WHP and 6 lbs. tq. when I had a VAFC I and was NA.

Lastly, how can I tell if my VAFC was tuned to its best for my applications? I wanna make sure I get tuned well. Do I have to get dynoed?

Usually the tuner will dyno it with A/F to see the best tune while still being safe
