Thumbs up Do your side markers leak....

Last April / May I upgraded to the clears ...

Last May / June I PMed the seller they said there was a bad batch.... they sent out a new batch

7 months later and the past couple days of rain... and they are very wet... not just a little condisation but overtime enough to cause problem with bulbs and wires over time

I put my stock ambers back in... and there is no water inside, even after a rain in the pooring rain

also the clip that hold the clear in....BOTH are broken... cheap plastic

Do the sidemarkers natutally hold water? or are they to all have water when they get wet?

I sent a email the company who sold them last night... hopefully it all works out

I'd be happy to send them back... so they can show the company who make this product
what can they do better...

That's what happended to me too. I'd taken mine on and off till it broke..no more OEM style.

You were luckier than I. The seller wouldn't replace unless I send the old ones back. Well I didn't want to wast any more money on it, so I walked.

Although many do not experience the leak, I couldn't be happier with the real, and not much more expensive, OEM.

Similar problem with my clear side repeaters. One side collects a small
amount of water every time I wash the car; noticed another problem,
the black plastic base has very sharp edges where it rests against the
fender and this has cut into the paint.
Even though they look sharp I will likely put the OEM orange ones back in.

maybe there is just a couple bad markers...? in the thousand they sell...
but how could I get 4 bad clears... they all leak

cheep hard plastic does not make a good seal

OEM... plasitc still has some give to it.... makes a good seal

at least I know its not something I have done to make them leak

I made a call to hardtopguy....I was told the NEW design will NOT leak

Thank you Jeff for the info.... I'll wait for a reply email from the other Co.
