If it is a Honda Certified Used car it is 7/100k, otherwise it is just a standard 3/36

Sylvir2k is right it's 7 years and 100k from ORIGINAL PURCHASE DATE! So If it's 2001 and has 40000 miles, You have til 2008 and 60000 miles left on it. Brand new it's 3 years 36000 miles, Toyota's have 5 year powertrain warranty.

Sure do, if you don't have any engine problem...
But if your engine breaks than surely it can't be Honda's fault...
You break you pay.

FVCK HONDA!

The standard Honda warranty is 3 years or 36000 miles. There is no added powertrain warranty unless you purchase one.

If you bought the car with the extended 7/100 powertrain, how do you transfer this to the next owner when you sell? Does it just carry over or does Honda need to get involved?

In Canada, honda has 3yr/60,000 km bumper to bumper and 5yr/100,000km powertrain on all new cars.

Just to clarify, it's a 2000 and I bought it last year from a 3rd party with only 13K miles. Anyways, being that I'm almost through my 3rd year, I was just trying to figure out if we do in fact have a powertrain warranty in addition to the bumper to bumper. I just don't feel like I will get a "fair" answer asking the dealer, if you know what I mean.
