Will it be harmful to my motor if I drive with the cover of my stock intake off? I put a K&N drop in filter to replace my stock for now while I wait for my Comptech. The air box is still there, I just removed the cover. Thanks S fans!

 

harmful? no. not in the grand scheme of things.

however, you will feel a substancial power loss due to heatsoak. it's too bad too, because the car sounds oh so mean without the airbox.

 

Oh man. No wonder Comptech has a filter shield. Spent 50 bucks for the K&N for nothing. lol. Thanks for the info Alex s
