Default Does this look OK?

I recently installed a Megan Resonated Test Pipe. The gap where the manifold and the test pipe connect seems to be huge. The spring on each bolt is fully compressed to the max. Does it bad to compress these springs like that? Does this look OK guys? Have you had this issue with Megan Resonated Test Pipe? Any input on this matter is appreaciated. Thanks

Jason

wow, thats quite a gap you got there, looks like you tightened it down all the way. did you tighten that part first or the back end? is the donut installed backwards by any chance?

I can't see jack, but the springs need some room for thermal expansion IMHO.

The test pipe is about 1/2" too short.

It's because the O ring on the OEM modifold is more convex and the Megan resonated test pipe is joint is less concave.

INTJ, thermal expansion? What do you mean?

the bolt on the spring bolts has a stopper, so once you hit that, you're fine. I can't see much from the pictures, but as long as the donut gasket is sealing, you should be fine.
