i have a bad cupler on my drive line that connects to the transmission, can i replace the cupler itself or do i need to get a whole new drive line?

Are you sure it's bad? The boot may be torn. Pegasus racing has a slip on boot that will fit. Look for the "AERO" boot on their site.

Yep. One on each end, and they tear like tissue paper. i'm willing to bet a lot of people have bad ones and don't know. The joint starts getting loose with no grease.

The clamp is not as nice - and reusable - as the CV clamps.
And to call them "tear like tissue paper" is a bit over the top..no?
I didn't get the impression they were thin.
YMMV.

They dry-rot and crack. If seen dozens of them. I'm on my second drive shaft, approaching a third, because of it. FWIW, Pegasus Racing sells a slip on boot that works well.
