Had my AP1 up on the lift at work a couple of weeks ago for an oil change and noticed the rear joint of the driveshaft is spraying grease all over the under side of my car. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a way to repair the joint or do I just need to bite the bullit and buy a new driveshaft $$$$$$. If a new shaft is my only choice is there an alternative to buying from Honda as they are ridiculous money? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I bought a used one from Honda parts unlimited was In great condition

 

I have had good luck with salvage yard parts... good price and usually a one year replacement warranty.

 

i would go with a driveshaft drom thedriveshaftshop to avoid this happening again.

 

If you want, I can sell you my used DSS driveshaft, because I want to buy the aluminum one.

 

The stock one made it 12 yrs. so just ordered another stock one.
