Default driveshaft question

can a driveshaft go bad? and how?

because i feel like my driveshaft is bad. i went under my car and twisted the driveshaft, and it seems very loose.

i am also beginning to kind of blame my driveshaft for damaging my two differentials. im already on my second one and about to go on my third. second one is whining.

I know of a couple of ways they go bad. One is a worn universal joint. That'd feel like slop or binding when you play with the shaft (compared to a new U-joint). The other would be the shaft otself getting bent, so that it wobbles off-center causing vibration and excess U-joint wear or binding.
