Default Which drop-in filter do u guys recommend?

looking to get a aftermarket filter to help my engine take in air better. wondering what do u guys recommend? im debating upon:

Spoon
Sprint
Comptech
K&N

comptech claims to gain 3whp to the wheels but im sure the others will gain as well...also which one would i hear it better (louder). where do u guys buy the sprint filters? i couldnt find anywhere that sells it. thanks

to me if you are goig to spend the money on a snorkel, why not just uograde to a full blown intake? ie the AEM v1 or V2, or if hydrolock is a concern, the K&N system

for filter's I used to have the K&N conical filter w/ stock airbox and it was slightly louder than stock, but I didnt notice any gains

howeveer, I noticed that when I had my airbox off, I could chirp 1-2 shift easy no problems, but w/ the airbox on, i actually had to work at at it to chirp the 1-2 shift. I though the airbox lid being off was supposed to make you lose power? any ideas?

I started out with the Comptech drop-in filter, and soon replaced it with the Green filter. The green filter is a large cone- type filter, with an
aluminum base machined into a very clean venturi. It looks like a
million bucks and I paid about $60.00 for it,
On a side note, I also added a cold air extension to the factory air
box, and this along with the green filter, gave me the gains I was looking for.
I'll be happy to E-mail pics if anyone is interested.
