Default drop two intake valve

i drop two intake valve onto my piston how can i tell if my rods are bent

You can use a depth guage inserted throught the spark plug hole to see if any of the pistons are lower at the bottom of their stroke than others. That's assuming that the engine still turns over.

Another way is to drop the oil pan and have a look through the bottom of the engine. Then you'll know for sure.

You're a better man for saying that, but, man, I hate humanism sometimes.
I think "wit a wat" is enough to convict him unable to do this particulart check-up on his own.

OP: Get a proper mechanic to check this.

BTW, wouldn't he know if he dropped a valve? can you drop a valve and simply not know it? I thought it destroyed the engine.

Yeah, bent rod's the least of his worry's now. I'd say at the very least he's looking at a new short block and probably a head too.

naw i knoe my block is ****ed but i wasnt sure i needed new rods cuz i already got new valve and valve springs i jus wanted to see if i should get both rod and pistons nd if there not bent would it be good to reuses them wit all new studs
