Default dyno 171.6whp

so i went to the dyno day at the horse power connection in ft. lauderdale and my car only put down 171.6!! what could be wrong with my car? it has 70k on it with a JIC Magic exhaust and test pipe and aem v2 cold air intake. the first pull was only 165.8!! no check engine light and the car seems to pull strong. my turbo civic tuner said it could possivbly be my spark plugs or gas filter? anyone have any ideas? please help!

It's your exhaust take it off and go again with the stock....you will see

The Puddy mobile is a test mule on this dyno run I was running an ARC intake, JIC exhaust, Spoon test pipe, Comptech header, and this is after a VAFCII tune.

The car stock ran a 185 Hp. With Spoon test pipe and K&N filter in stock air box she ran 192 hp. With no VAFCII tune

I went to the HPC Dyno Day, and dynoed the S. Highest it made was 213.4, car is stock. Try what Puddydad mentioned, and see what happens!

WOW, I quit even thinking about JIC when he said he didnt like tuning domestic cars(JDM for us). He said he prefers Porsche because thats what he started out working on and thats what he loves. That exhaust loses a lot! T1R 70mm mmmm

A T1R 70RR will give you the best bang for the buck when it comes to exhaust
Also IMO the Megan header will also give you the best bang for the buck when it comes to headers.
I hit 212 Hp and 140 Tq with this setup using a VAFCII to tune.....Think about it,
from 185 to 212 Hp a gain of 27 Hp This is on the same dyno under very similar conditions.

get a T1r 70mm if you are looking for the most power/ bang for buck,

but I to was unaware of the power loss associated with the JIC.... that really sucks
