Default the effects of the AC

I was driving my car on the highway this morning ranging between speeds of 80 and 100 when it appeared that smoke began to come from the AC vents. NOt thick smoke but almost like a mist. IS it safe to drive the car hard while the air conditioning is turned on?

Normally this is just water vapor from a combination of temperature and humidity conditions. I have seen it on a number of cars and it is nothing to worry about.

I never run th AC. Isn't it true that there is a 15% power loss or some miniscule powerloss from running the AC?

Yes, I would say at least 15% power loss in the S2k. You can feel it kick on when you hit the AC button. Thats fine though, I would still use it if it took 40%, as I HATE riding in a hot car.

It is also usually a good idea to run the a/c at least once a week to keep it in good working order.
