Default Electronics Exorcism needed??

Driving innocently along last evening with no warning my flashers came on. Flashed about six times then stopped. I did not accidently hit them 'cuz to tell the truth I didn't even recall exactly where they were at the moment. Possession by demons??? Or transient random aberration???

if your rearview mirror spins 360 degrees and pea soup starts spraying out of your windshield washer nozzles, you have a problem.

Had it been raining or had you just washed the car? Sounds like a crossed wire, either induced by moiture or contact.

Bob,

If you aren't sure where they are, how can you be so sure you didn't accidentally hit them? They're practically under your wrist hen your hand comes off the shifter, so I don't think it would be too hard to hit 'em...

Hmmmm......thanks for the responses. Washed it 5 days earlier and no rain for 4 days. Mirror not rotating and no pea soup but it suddenly got freezing cold in the car (hah hah). Since I did not know the switch was behind the shift lever how could I have turned them off? No I definitely did not hit it. But anyway no harm no foul....
