Elongated hole in lower A-arm at the endlink
So I'm trying to change over to new endlinks for my Saner sway bar and I notice I have an elongated hole in the lower A-arm where the endlink goes. So now what?
Can I get the hole welded or do I have to get a new A-arm? If I can get it welded, can it be done in the car or do I have to remove it to have it welded? How will welding the hole effect the strength of the A-arm? If the only thing to do is replace the A-arm, how hard is it to swap out and how much do they cost?
I measured the difference in the hole and it's 10.15mm verticle by 9.74mm horozontal give or take a couple of tenths (difficult to measure horozontally so it may be off by a little). The difference is .41mm.

I'd bolt the new end link up and drive on. Sway bar's aren't really precision devices. They don't affect your alignment in any way.
If it really bothers you, you'll probably want a new control arm. If it was me, I'd do both sides at the same time so, the bushings are the same on both sides
25.4 mm/in so, .41 mm = .016" right?

I would NOT weld it.
Welding would introduce heat stress.

0.41 mm isn't that much anyway.
