Thumbs up Engine Bogging

the motor is a MY00 with 30k, after swapping it into the car, engine was misfiring. I checked the plugs and 1,2, & 4 were black, 3 was dry. it was gettig spark but no gas, i swapped out the injector and it was fine. now i am expierencing bogging directly after idle. once i adjusted the throttle cable to correct the idle i tried reving the engine and all it does is bog down. i have no check engine lights, but i have an o2 fix for my test pipe. i am not sure but i don't think that the o2 fix cancels the CEL entirely. any suggestios would be helpful.

This is not the way to adjust the idle on this car. This would only serve to confuse the ECU further. Look toward your Idle Air Control system. If everything is working well, the idle adjusts itself.

the car was dieing at idle so i just raised it so it was proper idle. i have switched out the idle air control and i saw no difference as well. the ecu was pretty cut up from a vafc, i took it out and put the wires back together but i think that might have something to do with my problem..

I'm afraid your diagnosis will have to continue. Tightening up the throttle cable to adjust idle merely produces a throttle position sensor signal that will confuse the ECU even further. You might want to fix any damage incurred when the VAFC was spliced in. Those wires may no longer be able to transmit the proper signals.

we fixed the idle and misfire problem but it wont rev up and it dumps fuel. When you try to rev it. the motor bogs and stalls at full throttle. If i hold the rpms at a certain point the rpms surge at partial throttle.

Wait, are you still on the stock ECU? I thought your car has a blower on it?

i took the blower off, but yes, i still have stock ecu. i'm guessing i might need to swap out the wiring harness, because of how badly it was hacked.
