Default Engine Code

Hi,

My s2000 VTEC has an engine code of F2002103057

Is there a table or similar here or elsewhere I can confirm the engine's manufacture date etc?

thanks

Read it again and tell us what the engine serial number is. You should be able to tell its sequence.

It should read something like "F20C2-XXXXXXX. You don't show the C and you might be missing a digit. There's some discussion about the engine serial number associated with the upgraded banjo bolts in 2002.

Thanks for the reply.

I took the number straight off the log book.
Don't know where to find it stamped on the engine..

So assuming there's a transcription error there: it would read F20C2 103 057 unless it's been totally mis-transcribed.....
