Default Engine coolant

i was going over the fluid levels of my car today and noticed my engine coolant level was by the MIN, right dab on the "MIN" letter. After going for a drive I checked the fluid again and noticed the engine coolant level was near the top after a drive. Am I suppose to go upon the cold engine reading in the morning or after the engine is warmed up/driven a bit?

you should never have it full, whe n you run the car hot, it pumps out coolant into the resevoir, and when it cools down it takes it back in.

As with tires, you check coolant level when cold.

Only if it falls below that minimum line when cold!

What you're seeing is perfectly normal.
