Any feedback of any sort will be appreciated!
I've had my car now for 2 yrs and i've never had any problems. Lately I've been getting some wierd symptoms with my car. The car, under constant throttle, will suddenly slow down as if i'm letting go of the gas and all of a sudden pick back up again. Sometimes more noticeable than others. The car has actually "quit" on me once. It got so severe one day that the car would jek back and forth having no control over the throttle at all. Shut the car off and started it again... idle was screwed up... very low rpms and the whole engine was shaking... like when someone doesn't know how to drive a stick car and lets go of too much clutch and too little gas. Towed my car to honda and they replaced the primary O2 sensor which they said was lazy. Problem still occurs. The car would stall on me a couple of times. Got an AEM recently but i doubt that has anything to do with it. Have a Vtec controller and checked the wiring too....
I"M STUMPED!!!

OH YEAH ... IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN OVER BUMPS!!

Have you or the dealer ever checked to see if the spark plugs are screwed in tight enough? It is common knowledge that they can come from the factory too loose and over time can actually back out to the point of possibly causing engine failure (the infamous #4 cylinder grenade). A recent thread has indicated that Honda in Europe has just released a recall of sorts for this problem. There is much debate about whether or not Honda will do same for the rest of the market.

I have the same type of thing happening around vtec point when the car is warmed up and the engine sounds like it is missing both under load and when I let off the gas....do you have this same thing going on???

no stalling though..

I had something similar recently and remembered some threads about the MAP sensor. I found them, removed the MAP sensor and did whatever was suggested in the threads (shaking it or something), put it back on, and the problems went away. I don't even know what a MAP sensor does but hey it fixed my problem

I have tried that... I guess I can try again....I have replaced the MAP sensor once too. Usually the MAP sensor deals with idle issues I thought, maybe this too. Thanks!

Wouldn't a defective MAP sensor or throttle angle sensor cause similar symptoms? I have seen threads about defective MAP sensors on the S2000. If you know anyone with an S2000, see if they will let you trade your MAP sensor with theirs for a day or two. You can swap them in 5 minutes by removing two philips screws.
