Default I need help to get s2k back on road please!

I have a 2006 honda s2000. My car has been sitting outside of my house for over a month. I have the money now to fix it but I'm not sure what to fix?

The car starts and runs fine, the only problem is when you start the car you can smell gas. The car isn't running good at all, when you drive it the throttle sticks when you let go of the gas at times.

I had a misfire cylinder 3 and I did plug and play on the coils and switched two of them and haven't got a code after that.. I have SENSOR LOGIC FAILURE, PCM/ECM POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE/ ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. I have been driving with these codes for a year without problems.

I got a job that had 40 miles of stop and go traffic each day, and that is when my car started freaking out and started having all kinds of throttle issues.

The only thing that I have done is replace my tps sensor/throttle body with a used one from a reputable parts store.. It didn't fix the problem. I am thinking I have to maybe switch out my clutch because its not engaging properly? or I have to replace the gas pedal sensor?

How would I know what the problem is? If I hook it up to a advanced diagnostic tool, what should I be looking at and what are the good numbers?

The traction control button doesn't work, and very seldomly it will turn on by itself.. This is only like 3-4 times in 5000 miles.

I went to Honda dealership.. They advised me to make sure that the traction control module connections. If it is connected I have to buy a new module for it, and then it might shut off the engine control module and powertrain control module codes. All of the codes are under the !. They aren't the traditional check engine light. They say not to drive it at all, because when you have one bad module, you can mess up your other ones? When I buy new traction control module and the other stay on afterwards, then I have to buy those modules too. Does anyone know if this is true? how much am I looking at $$? and how hard is it to do?

I am thinking maybe the owner before me had it tuned with a turbo? because he did have multiple aftermarket parts but no management system with it, maybe he took all of the turbo and everything off?

Please someone help me out, as you can see I have no idea what to do. I am thinking to start off with all new coils and spark plugs? when I take the coils out, I smell a foul smell and the walls look corroded.. and they stink.. Then I was thinking gas pedal sensor or throttle body/tps brand new one? and then maybe traction control module?

Is it bad to have car sitting in really freezing temperatures for a month? what should I do?

Is it worse to have it sit there, or to turn it on and smell gas and have it sound like an sti?

Please help!!!

You will be lucky if you don't need an engine.

This is evidence of loose spark plugs. The "corroded" look is a torching effect from the loose plugs, and likely your fuel smell problem.

get 4 new plugs, torque them to 22 ft-lbs, then go from there.

Trust me on this, don't drive that car until you attend to the plugs. The electrodes may be in danger of falling off the plugs and destroying the engine.

Ok I will purchase the spark plugs and torque them down to that spec this weekend. Would you recommend to change all of the coils as well? 80k on the car..

Any other input or opinions on the whole issue concerning the throttle or modules?
