Yeah I think you would need to go OEM and you need to size them perfectly, which is why this type of thing is best to leave to the experts

Guys I think I found the problem at least I hope I did. I took the serpentine belt off and the noise went away.im going to recheck tommorow but how long can I run car without belt on. I'm crossing my fingers. I almost cried when the car idles smooth. My idler pulley has side to side play. I'm not sure if that's normal.i checked the bolt and it's on there really tight. So how can it have side to side play?

The webbing on the crank comes stamped with the bearings used, get the one that corresponds with your rod and the next two sizes up.

Not long at all, no belt = no water pump action.

Ballade sports indeed do sell one timing correction gear

That is very interesting. So the rattle could in fact be slack in the chain that creates a more distinct rattle from the compression of cylinder 1 or who knows the firing of cylinder 1 could somehow magnify the sound, IMO. I could still hear a faint rattle in your video even after the coil was removed.

Exactly. I can take things apart and put them back together. When it comes to fine measurements, I try to stay away.

You're lucky. My sound stays with the belt removed. I replaced the bearings on those pulleys anyway since mine were a little wobbly too.

Yea, that led me to believe it was a piston/rod/pin issue since you'd still hear *something* banging around regardless of combustion.
