As always: pull the code.

An upcoming oil change won't trigger a CEL.

Check and clear diagnostic codes.
Do you not have a manual or access to Google?

Are you sure it's the Check Engine Light and not the Maintenance Reminder Light? Get the CEL code checked, as stated above, to help narrow down the possible issue. You can use your FlashPro to determine the code or you can get it checked at an auto store (usually for free).

Since you're modded, you may want to invest in a code reader. Yea, it's free at Autozone, but you can clear them yourself with a reader, whereas a store may not be able to do that, citing legality issues.

I'm a little high-tech...I have Torque and a bluetooth reader. The bonus is that you can monitor your ECU stats on your phone, and check/clear codes, too.

codes will clear themselves when the cpu knows the problem is gone. Clearing the codes will turn off non-continuous monitors that might take a while to turn back on. Among other things, this will keep you from passing emissions, so keep that in mind if you clear a code right before getting an emissions test.

most likely the secondary air injection, incorrect flow code.

That thing pops up all the time.
