Default Engine Noise

Hi guys - could do with some advice please.

Recently I've noticed my engine sounds very different following a cold start and when warm. It also seems louder that my friends S2K. Just checking if it's something I should be worried about.
My car is an '04 with 95k miles. Air filter cover removed, has K&N filter installed. No other engine mods. Only other mod is UK exhaust mod.

So here's the cold start: (recorded immediately after star up)

Here's following a drive with engine warm:

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Off the top of my head your car will sound a lot different cold than warm because.

1. Idle is higher when warming up, it sounds like the induction noise from the intake is quite loud.
2. The secondary air injection system will be running on a cold start.
3. It is possible to have piston slap until things expand.

The sound does not seem out of the ordinary to me.
