ticking sound is injectors. You're fine. s2000 have all sorts of noises.

How much oil do you add? I find adding 5.3-5.5 Qts of oil helps reduce the vavetrain noise significantly. The 5qts just doesn't cut it.

Sounds like the timing chain auto tensioner going bad? compare to this vid, in which the sounds is very similar and the video poster said it was indeed the TCT:

I hope that helps.

Sounds too quiet to be the TCT, sounds like normal valve train noise in a honda motor to me.

How loud is it with the hood closed?

I will take a look at it. I might do an early oil change just to try 5.3 qt as you suggested.

Thank you!

Why would you measure what you put in from the container and not with the dip stick?

Is not very loud, it actually sounds "normal" if I'm standing outside the car, but when I'm sitting I can hear that "tick, tick", is very faint thou.

Thanks!

tick tick is def injectors. If tct was the problem it would sound more like a card in a bicycle spoke.
