"Noises" are really hard to convey in print and can be interpretted by the reader in many ways, but here are some things to think about:
-bad cam chain tensioner
-if you accidentally over-revved, it could be a bent valve
-valve that has gone out of adjustment
-failing water pump
-bad drive belt tensioner
-loose heat shield
-bad accessory pulley bearing
A description of where in the engine the noise is coming from would help as well as any other details.

you are the man, xviper. ^^
thanks for the replay.
i believe the noise comes from under the red engine cover or somewhere between the intake box and engine.
i did over rev. my car a few times before. however, that was several months ago.
i have a extended warranty.
if i take my car to honda to have them inspect for me, do i have to pay?

Yes, you would have to pay - over-revving is a user error, not a mfg defect.
Like a doctor, one gets the best answers if one gives a brief history - omitting the "I over-revved it" part, for example. I might have answered "you may have a candy wrapper in the alternator cooling fins" had the great xviper not sniffed out your problem. Good luck.

This is happening with my car and it is suspected that it is the cam chain tensioner.. I had my valves checked and everything looked okay.. It's not a ticking sound but more like a sound that you described; a card stuck in a fan.
