Check the map sensor connector pins and wiring very carefully.

Does this car have a SC or any other mods?

Mods on the the car are full exhaust only and stock filter.

Before this happened to my car, everything worked just fine even with these mods.

Will do a volt test again on the MAP wire today and do a trace on the connections for it.

Just checked the map plug for current and there is 5v running in it.

Map sensor checked in other car from my S2... Map sensor is fine.

Made three wires that run directly from the map sensor plug to the map sensor and switch the engine on. 5v current running on the wires but the map sensor isn't functioning.

Could it be the ECU?

I'm gonna check check the wirings one by one for the MAP. Got so frustrated I removed the dashboard so I can work freely on the car. Removed the ECU too.

Cruising around town will have to wait again, dang! How long? Can't tell...

Was just staring at my car thinking of what I'm going to do to solve this problem...

Help!

Solved the problem just a while ago.

After a whole day of working on it, found out that a wire connecting to the VAFC and MAP sensor wire was separated from the electric tape, that's why there was no signal being sent from the ECU to the MAP.

Thank God it wasn't the ECU!

Ugh. If you listed you had a VAFC, that would be my first and likely only guess

Reason he asked this is the SC uses a map clamp device.

Other mods=vafc.
