Default engine seized?

well i was driving home from work and it was a crazy storm here in tampa,Fl...long story short i was going insanely slow through a puddle when suddenly my car just shut off and wouldnt turn back on...im thinking that my aem intake sucked up water and the engine is seized. Im just looking for any other advice that would be helpful. has this happened to anyone else? does insurance cover it if it still has full coverage on it? please help...thanks in advance..

as far as i know they do not cover an engine failure such as that. the best thing to do at this point is take it to a mechanic and see if they can get it to turn over.... what kind of intake do you have?

This may just be an old wives tale but I heard if you use brake fluid inside the cylinders from the spark plug side it can sometimes unseize the motor since brake fluid is pretty corosive. But I wouldnt reccomended this until you are sure its seized and are completely out of options before replacing the motor.

depending on the condition the motor could easily be saved, i would take it out, remove spark plugs, manifolds, oil pan and flush it !!
